Rewind: A Throwback Event is open again and this time it’s Y2K. Any of those old enough to remember 18 years ago, remember the panic and fear of what would happen when the world’s computers rolled over to single zeros. Were we going to crash, be plunged back into the dark ages? Fortunately, none of that happened and we’ve gone on with our merry lives, producing children who eat Tide Pods for “fun” challenges *rolls my eyes and smacks my head* great legacy we’re leaving huh? Anyway, the music of the late 90’s and early 2K’s was phenomenal and I used it as an excuse to use a TLC song. I loved TLC so much and when I heard Left Eye had died in a crash I was devastated. Their music was fun and fresh with some amazing messages. I am not unpretty in this blog but the music tells a story we all need to hear.
Sometimes, well most of the time actually, I have NO idea how I am going to put together a picture or scene before I do it. I get an item, which then inspires me to get another item and another until I have a set that I put together and am happy with. Today is one of those days. Canimal is at the Rewind Y2K with this gorgeous, Asian-inspired dress. This dress is fit for Maitreya only and comes in 8 stunning colors or a fatpack.
Of course, since I have an Asian style dress I wanted a hair that would fit the theme and I was in luck because Bad Hair Day had released one. Originally released for The Season Story, this hair is now available in store. It comes with 4 styles included and as with all Bad Hair Day hairs, it includes an upper and lower layer HUD option. I chose the black/white main HUD and the light colors for HUD 2. I just love being able to create unique color combinations with these hairs. If you want complete control you have to buy the fatpack, each color pack only comes with that specific color for both HUDs.

The perfect dress needs the perfect shoes right? Moda is at Whimsical open now. These shoes are sold as a multi-texture only. They are fit for Maitreya, Slink, and Belleza and each piece is color change individually. The HUD includes 26 colors and 4 metal options.
I chose a couple of different items from Plastik to showcase in this blog, the jewelry armoire is available at Frou Frou and comes with an upright open and closed version as well as a tilted open and closed version. There are 7 colors to choose from and you can purchase them as a fatpack as well if you want them all. Nail polishes are also available for purchase and include Maitreya and Omega appliers. Those are pictured in the closeup photo below and shown on #Empire Medium Coffin Nails, which I love because I can use an offset nail. Plastik is also at The Liaison Collaborative with these gorgeous new wall candle sets. There are 5 packs of two available for purchase.

Remember, Powder Pack items ARE exclusive, you will not find them anywhere else. You have from the first of the month until midnight on the 16th to reserve your Powder Pack for 1500L, after release they go up to 3000L.
